The problem
Event photography has a delivery problem. The photos are taken, edited and then trapped: on a drive, in a folder, in a gallery nobody can search. Attendees ask “do you have one of me?” and the photographer scrolls. Organisers want photos for social media the same evening. Sales, when they happen, are a spreadsheet and an invoice.
How it works
BestShot.ai takes the full set of photos from an event and does the sorting. Computer vision groups shots by person and moment, rates them, and builds albums automatically. Attendees search with a selfie and get their photos in seconds. Organisers get a branded gallery to share, and a checkout that sells prints and downloads without the photographer touching an invoice.
We built it because we kept seeing the same pattern in our own events and in clients’ businesses: valuable photos, no way to find them, no way to sell them.
Where it is today
BestShot.ai is live and in use by photographers and organisers. It is a DataMinds product, which means the engineering behind it, from face embeddings to the upload pipeline, is the same we bring to client work.
